Ashwagandha a native of tropical India, has been used in traditional Indian medicine for more than 2000 years.

Popularly it is also known as Winter Cherry or Indian Ginseng.

In sanskrit Ash means horse and Gandha means smell of horse, so it refers to horse’s strength and vitality.

Ashwagandha contains active consituents Alkaloids, Withanolides, somniferien, Chlorogenic acid, B-Sitosterol etc.
